1. OVERVIEW
In November 2022, this customer contacted TGDC about replacing her old up and over garage doors. She was searching for a simpler option to use, and safety enhance features that would also increase the property's aesthetic.
2. SOLUTION
After discussions with our expert team, the Carteck Side Hinged Doors were chosen for their security features, easy operation and contemporary design. The 50/50 spilt assures simple access for homeowners, while the solid rib vertical design offers a clean and modern appearance. Additionally, the Anthracite RAL 7016 is applied for both the frame and the door, which provides a cohesive, streamline look and complements the design of the property. Our expert team also suggested the available additional features for the door: vertical windows with satin glazing and stainless-steel frames. Not only adding a bespoke and elegant element to the garage, the two opposite inactive leaf window let natural light come in when it is needed.
3. OUTCOME
The installation date was decided in January 2023, 8 weeks after the first initial quote. Our experienced team showed up on time and carefully started the installation process. The old doors were taken out and the new pair of Carteck Side Hinged Doors were installed using a durable steel frame. After the installation, the team adjusted the doors for a perfect fit and checked them to ensure they performed properly.
