Case Study: Hormann ALR F42 Thermo Glazed Aluminium Sectional Doors for Escapade Silverstone

After a survey, we agreed to choose Hormann ALR F42 Thermo Industrial Sectional Doors for this project. We come up with the final plans for 29 doors in RAL 7013 Brown/Grey with two order sizes:

W 5550 mm x H 2180mm     25 doors

W 5995 mm x H 2180 mm    4 doors

They are functional, architecturally stunning, and in harmony with the eyecatcher building. Each door features advanced Duratec synthetic glazing. This provides exceptional transparency, allowing an uninterrupted view of the outside while maintaining excellent thermal insulation. The doors also incorporate a thermal break within the glazing profiles, ensuring efficient insulation. Their sleek design enhances the luxury appeal of the space while delivering cutting-edge performance—perfectly suited for the high-end clientele connected to the Silverstone brand.

The glazing frames of the doors are finished with both interior and exterior polyester primer coatings using a wet coating procedure, ensuring a smooth, durable finish. The frames are coated in bespoke RAL colours, adding a refined aesthetic that complements the contemporary design of the Silverstone Escapade development.
